Who We Are...

This blog seeks to examine the way America's unique Jewish community has (or has not) been the focus of corporate marketing efforts.  In doing so we hope to explore some of the things -- both apparent and less so -- that make the American Jewish community such a unique market.  While our focus is on the community we (think we) know best, hopefully the insights that come out of this blog will shed light on marketing efforts aimed at other minority communities, as well as on marketing more generally.  All of this we hope to do with the active participation of what we hope will become a vibrant community of buyatribe.com readers.

Ross is a serial entrepreneur, punk music aficionado and triplet.  Currently in business development at Yahoo!, Ross has an impressive track record in the fields of journalism, the recording industry, and online media and marketing.  Ross can’t decide if he is a San Franciscan or a New Yorker, but he is happy to complain about/extol the virtues of living in either location.

Ben is a world traveler who loves puppies, fried chicken and Faulkner.  A lawyer by training, Ben left a large multi-national law firm after two years to pursue his passion for globetrotting and to explore new and more exciting ways to put his legal mind to work.  Ben hopes the 2010’s will bring more stamps in his passport and less Black Eyed Peas on the radio.
